We are non-denominational wedding officiants. We perform traditional and same sex weddings, commitment ceremonies and vow renewal ceremonies within Tucson, Arizona and beyond (trip fee added depending on driving distance and time commitment) and starting in May, 2021 we will be performing weddings in San Carlos, Mexico!

We are professional, experienced (We have now performed close to 1,000 weddings combined in just over ten years), articulate, efficient, very organized and offer an excellent service at a very reasonable rate.

We perform weddings because we truly love what we do and enjoy every experience offered to us!  We have a flexible schedules and can be available for "last minute" ceremonies.

Michael is also a photographer. If you are also seeking a photographer we can offer you an excellent rate on a combined package.  Please view his website here.

We officiate weddings at the venue of your choice whether at your private home, park, court house, chapel, beach, hiking trail, resort or even virtually via Zoom, Skype, Face Time or the video platform you prefer. Please review the "venues" page for our preferred venues.

We have started processing in the United States and performing destination weddings outside of the United States in other beautiful destinations, perhaps on a beautiful beach in our paradise, Holbox Island or  in the San Carlos and the Yucatan, Mexico (where we own our rustic, old, farm house in a small country town!) Having legal wedding ceremonies in other countries can include many obstacles. Sometimes the best option is to apply for and attain your marriage license in the United States, have that signed and witnessed in the United States and then have your actual, symbolic, wedding ceremony in the destination of your dreams.

Hiring the perfect officiant is very important on YOUR wedding day.  You have many options at a variety of price ranges, so we prefer that you do as much research as you are able to including reading articles from the Huffington post and www.Brides.com about tips for selecting an officiant. Your research should include reading our review page and/or the blog post regarding choosing an officiant and/or speaking to our past couples. You may be able to find an officiant whose rate is lower than our rate, but rest assured, their services will not meet the expert level of ours. Our rates are very reasonable and our services are superb.  We always go a step beyond whenever necessary. We have experienced many weddings that lack coordination and we have stepped in and assisted inclusive of our agreed rate for officiating services. Either of us are happy to plan a meeting with you in person or by Skype or Face time so that you can meet either of us and ask any questions you may have and see if either of our personalities matches yours! Your wedding day is a once in a lifetime experience and  we want to make sure that you hire the BEST officiant to perform your wedding ceremony, one to represent you both on your very important day!

Our rates vary between $100 - 350  depending on the location, amount of guests and size of your bridal party..   Rehearsal attendance, witness services and and travel outside of our immediate home area (Avra Valley, AZ) are in addition to our rate range.  Feel free to text, call or email either of us to get a rate quote.

Rate includes:

  • All communication including email, phone calls and meetings (in person or electronic).

  • Travel time to and from your wedding ceremony.

  • Customizing your wedding ceremony with you.

  • Performing your wedding ceremony.

  • Signing your marriage license and submitting the bottom portion of your marriage license into the courthouse.

  • A keepsake copy of your wedding ceremony and the upper portion of your marriage license in a folder.

We are happy to meet with you in person or electronically (Zoom, Skype or FaceTime) although it is not necessary. The majority of my couples do not meet us until their rehearsal!

We do attend wedding rehearsals (encouraged, especially for venues without a coordinator and large bridal parties) to ensure that your wedding ceremony runs smoothly.  We charge a trip fee of usually $50  due to the additional trip (rate can be higher if your location is  a further drive).  Rehearsal attendance is based on our availability once you have advised us of the date/time of your rehearsal. Requesting our attendance when you booked either of our services does not guarantee our availability to attend your rehearsal until either of us had confirmed our attendance with you.

Once you decide to book either of our services, We will confirm our service with you and request a 50% deposit. Once the deposit is received (payment method is PayPal which you can pay here). The balance for our services is due a week prior to your wedding by PayPal or in cash at your rehearsal.  If you cancel our services, your deposit is non-refundable.  If you request to book our services and we confirm with you and we do not receive your deposit after a second reminder, your wedding ceremony is NOT confirmed and it will be removed from our calendar.

The next step is customizing your wedding ceremony.  The process starts with me emailing templates to you based on your interest for your wedding ceremony.  If you are not sure what type of ceremony you want, no worries!  We will send you wedding ceremony, vow and reading samples. We then work together to create your perfect ceremony.

Up to a year prior to getting married you will need to obtain your Arizona marriage license. Your marriage license will be reviewed by either of us prior to your wedding ceremony. You can now obtain a marriage license in our county, Pima County from the Tucson downtown Superior Court or Oro Valley. This link gives you all the information you need regarding obtaining your marriage license from the downtown Tucson Superior Court. This link gives you all the information you need regarding obtaining your marriage license in Oro Valley. If you live in another state and want to apply for your marriage license online and by mail instead of applying in person, you can do that through Mohave County through this link. An Arizona marriage license requires that two witnesses sign your marriage license. If you do not have two witnesses over the age of 18, I can provide those for you for a fee per witness.
